HEAD OF ORTHOPAEDICS · OSSO
Dr. Karan Raj Jaggi
MBBS (Gold Medalist), MS (Orthopaedics), DNB (Orthopaedics), MCh (Regenerative Orthopaedics, UK) | India's First MACI-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
Triple board-certified, internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon super-specialising in regenerative orthopaedics, sports injuries, and fast-track joint replacements. The first surgeon in North India to perform single-stage Matrix-Induced Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation, with 12+ years of clinical experience across India and the United Kingdom.

A surgeon’s philosophy
Dr. Karan Raj Jaggi leads orthopaedic care at OSSO with a mission that runs counter to the industry's default: delay surgery wherever clinically possible.

A gold medallist from Maulana Azad Medical College, he completed his MS in Orthopaedics from University College of Medical Sciences before pursuing an MCh in Regenerative Orthopaedics at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. His years as a Consultant within the NHS shaped his evidence-based approach to musculoskeletal care. On returning to India, he served at Fortis Hospital and AktivHealth.
Dr Jaggi follows a step-up approach, starting with the most conservative option and escalating only when clinically necessary. Most patients begin with physiotherapy and lifestyle correction; if needed, the next layer involves regenerative treatments such as PRP, GFC and BMAC.
The right treatment at the right time is his guiding principle. Equipped to offer the full spectrum, from regenerative care to complex joint replacements, his recommendation is always clinical, never convenience.
Before choosing surgery, choose clarity.
Watch Dr. Jaggi explainAt OSSO, Dr. Jaggi has built a clinical model where orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and physiotherapy work in collaboration, not in silos. It's the model he wished existed when he was treating patients across two continents. He is the first surgeon in North India to perform single-stage Matrix-Induced Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation (MACI) a regenerative technique that uses a patient's own cartilage cells to repair joint damage that would traditionally have required replacement.
Areas of Specialisation
From regenerative biologics to fast-track joint replacement, Dr. Jaggi's clinical work spans the full spectrum of modern orthopaedic care.

Regenerative Orthopaedics
Using the body's own healing biology to repair tissue, often replacing the need for surgery altogether.
- High-dose PRP & GFC Injections
- BMAC ( Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentration)

Sports Injuries
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic injuries designed to return athletes to peak performance.
- ACL & Meniscal Repair
- Rotator Cuff Tears
- Tendon & Ligament Repair

Fast-Track Joint Replacement
Modern minimally invasive techniques that get patients walking on Day 1 and home in 2 to 3 days.
- Robotic-Assisted Surgery
- Cartilage Preservation
- Arthroscopy
REGENERATIVE PROCEDURE
First in North India to perform single-stage MACI
Matrix-Induced Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation is a regenerative cartilage repair technique that uses the patient's own cells, harvested and re-implanted in a single surgical stage. Where traditional joint replacement removes damaged cartilage, MACI rebuilds it, preserving the native joint and potentially adding decades to its functional life. Dr. Karan Raj Jaggi introduced this procedure to North India, expanding the options available to patients who had previously been told replacement was inevitable.
What Patients Say

"After months of battling frozen shoulder and meeting multiple doctors across various hospitals, I had almost given up hope on finding genuine, patient-first care."

"After five years of struggling with left knee pain and almost giving up, OSSO's integrated plan with PRP and physiotherapy gave me 6 0–70% improvement in just two months.

I've had a back issue and an ACL tear from football… I didn't realise how much I needed ortho + physio working together until I came to OSSO. "

My son joined OSSO post-knee surgery… the doctors' structured approach, the physio's positive attitude, and supportive staff made his recovery safe and effective. "
